Bryan Villarini, MagdaAlexander Torres, Desiré Cardoza and Carla Cristina They will return to animate Orgullo Boquerón, the largest festival LGBTQ+ of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, from Friday, June 7 to Sunday, June 9 of this year.
“By popular request our fans are back to cheer on Orgullo Boquerón. We are happy to have these five ‘talented’ from our communities who have a perfect chemistry to lead our pride weekend,” said Pedro Julio Serrano, spokesperson for Orgullo Boquerón.
This event is produced by Mújica Group and has the endorsement of the Autonomous Municipality of Cabo Rojo, as well as the support of the merchants of Boquerón.
“Soon, we will be announcing the other artists and events that will be presented during Orgullo Boquerón, but as always it will be a high-profile event, one of struggle and celebration of our LGBTQ+ communities,” Serrano added.
Bryan Villarini, makeup artist, actor and presenter, seeks to give visibility and representation to the LGBTQ+ community in the media to pave the way for others in the group.
For his part, Freddo Vega is a young actor who plays Magda. Alexander Torres is an actor who has starred in several novels and series, including “Dangerous Relationships”, “Lady and Worker”, “Mariposa de Barrio and Ruta 35”.
Meanwhile, Desi Soto, better known as La Reina De Tus Noches, Miss Desiré Cardoza, is an actor, dancer and comedian with almost three decades in the art of drag, inside and outside of Puerto Rico. And finally, Carla Cristina is a journalist who currently works as a producer for Primer Round, on Magic 97.3.
“This year we will be the first LGBTQ+ pride celebration in Puerto Rico. So we are waiting for you from June 7 to 9 at Orgullo Boquerón,” Serrano concluded.
