Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is on Delhi Police remand, has reportedly confessed to ordering the murder of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu alias Sidhu Moosewala. According to sources, Lawrence Bishnoi told Delhi Police- ‘Yes, I killed Sidhu Musewala’. However, the statement made before the police will have to be re-admitted by Bishnoi in the court.
Delhi Police is sharing Bishnoi’s interrogation inputs with Punjab Police, which is separately seeking Bishnoi’s custody. Bishnoi had requested the court not to hand him over to the Punjab Police as he feared being killed in a fake encounter. A local court had sent Bishnoi to Delhi Police remand on May 31. Lawrence Bishnoi, 30, the kingpin of a 700-member gang of criminals, has come under the police radar with Canadian gangster Goldie Brar taking responsibility for the murder of singer Sidhu Musewala.
Bishnoi is called ‘Don’ by his gang members. He is a resident of Dhatranwali village near Abohar. Bishnoi’s father joined the Haryana Police as a constable in 1992, but left the job after five years and started farming.
