the puerto rican wise “The Gold Pen”, one of the pioneers of reggaeton, composed 1,000 songs in 50 days for a project with which he will visit various cities to produce these songs with a select group of producers.
“Beyond” (Beyond) is the name with which Gabriel Antonio Cruz Padilla, Wise’s real name, baptized this new musical challenge, that will start a new business model and opportunities, as explained by its representatives in a press release released this Monday.
“I can not complain! After a career that has given me great satisfaction and contributed more and more to music, this time I face a greater challenge”, Wise said in the statement.
“Well, really more than a challenge or an incalculable feat, for me it will represent another contribution to music, to the entertainment business on a global level,” added “The Composer of Composers”, as Wise is known.
The artist explained that he will tour the cities by means of a mobile home.
Wise began his career as a composer at the age of 12, when he created the salsa classic “Hasta el Sol de Hoy”, performed by Edgar Joel.
Since then, he has written other successful songs such as “Noche de Entierro” by Daddy Yankee, Wisin & Yandel, Hector “El Father” Y Tony Tun Tun; “I give you love” and “Down” by RKM & Ken Y; “Sola” and “Rumor de Guerra” by Héctor “El Father”, and “Zun Da Da” and “I lose my head” by Zion & Lennox.
Likewise, he composed “El Doctorado” and “Mi amor es poor” for Tony Dize“For that woman” by Chayanne“What goes up comes down” by Olga Tanonfor whom he also wrote “Maria Lola” in collaboration with groupmania“It hurts without you” by Victor Manuelle“Who knows” by Natti Natasha and “Slowly” by Archangel.
In the past years, out of 15 songs written by Wise, 11 reached the first place within the prestigious lists of Billboard magazine in four categories: “Hot Latin Song”, “Latin Rhythm Airplay”, “Latin Tropical Airplay” and “Latin Pop Airplay”, according to the statement.
With these 15 songs, he also achieved 27 positions among the first 10 places of those prestigious billboards.
