AThen bombs began to rain down on Ukraine on February 24, a freighter was preparing to set sail for Saint Petersburg. A few days later, the ship will indeed arrive in Le Havre with the holds loaded with wood, but in his office near Nantes, Laurent Coudray already has a presentiment of it, it will be the last. Indeed, the ax fell while the boat was at sea: France decreed an embargo on trade with the country of Vladimir Putin. “It was still in Russian waters at the time of the first strikes, but once it arrived safely, we put an end to our business relations”, says the managing director of Arba (Artisans reunited Bois Atlantique ).
