New Delhi, 26 November (Agency)A new video of Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Satyendar Jain surfaced on Saturday in which he is seen meeting a superintendent of Tihar Jail inside his prison cell. A political tussle has erupted over videos that have surfaced of Jain purportedly showing him availing massage and other special facilities in jail. He urged a court here to restrain the media from ‘leaking’ the CCTV camera footage of his chamber.
Delhi BJP media unit chief Harish Khurana shared the footage of the CCTV camera and tweeted, ‘Watch this new video of honest minister Jain. Attendance of the Jail Superintendent in the court of the Jail Minister at 8 pm. Earlier this month, a superintendent of Tihar Jail was suspended for his alleged involvement in providing ‘special facility’ to Jain. Jain has been in jail since May 31 in a money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Sources had said that the suspended officer Ajit Kumar was the superintendent of jail number 7 in the jail complex.
