Pop singer Justin Bieber told fans in a video posted on Instagram on Friday that he is suffering from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which has caused partial facial paralysis. The 28-year-old singer recently announced that he was stopping his Justice World Tour due to illness. He made this announcement a few hours before his first concert in Toronto.
Explain that a complication of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome occurs when the outbreak affects the facial nerves near the ear. Apart from facial paralysis, it can also cause deafness. Bieber explained in a video, “As you can see, I can’t blink an eye, I can’t smile on this side of my face, that nostril is not working.”
“So, this side of my face is completely paralyzed. So to those who are disappointed by the cancellation of my next show, I want to say that I am not physically able to perform the concert. This is very serious. , as you can see.” The singer said that he is doing facial exercises. Also taking complete rest so that he can fully recover and do what he was born to do.
Let us tell you that this is the third time that Bieber’s tour has been postponed. Earlier, two tours were postponed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, when he got corona infected. His wife Hailey Bieber also had corona. Recently, wife Hailey also had a stroke due to a blood clot in her brain.
It is worth noting that the inability to move the facial muscles from one or both sides is called facial paralysis. Facial paralysis can result from congenital (present at birth) conditions, trauma or disease, such as stroke, brain tumor or damage to the nerves due to Bell’s palsy.
