Valencia, outraged by Vinícius’ statement

The Brazilian player of Real Madrid Vinicius Jrdeclared this Thursday as injured in a case due to racist insults in the Mestalla stadium in the case of the Court of Instruction number 10 of Valencia, in which the Brazilian player claimed to feel like a victim of racist insults and showed himself willing to file a legal claim for the themselves.

Vinicius He was not assisted by his own lawyer in the case that has been prosecuted at the request of La Liga, to which the Brazilian thanked the defense of his person and a fight against racism that he asked to be maintained. Real Madrid’s lawyer was present at the statement this Thursday as the Santiago Bernabéu club was present in the case.

The player has admitted that due to his way of playing he can make gestures that provoke the stands and pointed out that these types of situations motivate him.

Valencia raises its voice

The team led by Peter Lim showed this Thursday its “surprise, rejection and indignation” given the possibility that in his statement in the open case for having received racist insults at Mestalla, the Real Madrid player Vinicius Jr has attributed them to the entire stands and not to the three investigated and has demanded a public rectification.

The club, which is not involved in the case and has not attended the appearance of the Madrid player, issued a statement after seeing the Brazilian’s “alleged statement” published and reminded him that his own coach Carlo Ancelotti changed that first version that he offered by confusing the cries of “fool fool”which the majority did perform in the stands, with those of ‘monkey, monkey’

“As coach Carlo Ancelotti himself publicly acknowledged, in no case can the behavior be generalized to the entire Mestalla stadium,” said the club, which claimed to be “fully aware of the seriousness of this matter.”

“Racism has no place in football or in society, but it cannot be fought with fallacies or unfounded lies. This issue requires the involvement of everyone and Valencia CF understands that it must be scrupulously precise and responsible in this type of demonstrations. The Valencian fans cannot be classified as racist and Valencia CF demands Vinicius Jr. to rectify publicly his alleged statement this morning,” the statement concludes.
