Two Pakistani soldiers killed in terrorist attack near Afghanistan border

Tehreek-e-Taliban has been involved in various attacks in Pakistan over the past decade.


Unknown terrorists attacked a security check post in Pakistan’s restive North Waziristan district bordering Afghanistan, killing two soldiers. The Pakistani army gave this information. The army’s media unit said on Saturday that the attack took place in Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The attackers fled from there after an encounter with the security forces. The army said in a statement that the soldiers died during the firing. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack. This is the third attack on security forces during the ceasefire effective November 9. In the first two attacks, terrorists killed two policemen in the Bajaur tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and a soldier in the Tank district.

Therefore, the Taliban did not react negatively to the meeting of national security advisors of seven countries in India. Taliban spokesman Zabibullah Mujahid called it in the interest of Afghanistan. Said that of course we were not present in this meeting but we feel that it was done with the intention of betterment of Afghanistan.
