Truck-trolley collides with tractor trolley loaded with devotees, 5 injured – dainiktribuneonline.com

In a horrific accident near Asakheda Toll Plaza on Bharatmala Expressway, 5 devotees were injured in a collision between a truck-trolley and a tractor-trolley, out of which the condition of four is critical.

It is said that a speeding truck-trolley hit the tractor trolley from behind. The accident happened at around four in the morning. About 40-45 devotees from Nakodar-Kapurthala region of Punjab were going to the pilgrimage place Gogamedi in Rajasthan on a tractor trolley, which included women, children and men.

On receiving the information, Dabwali ambulance service driver Kulwant Singh took the injured to Civil Hospital Dabwali.

Due to the heavy collision with the truck, the trolley full of devotees got separated, broke the grills of the highway and fell on the service road. Whereas the tractor collided with the road divider.

The injured have been identified as 36 year old Raman Kumar resident of Shalupur, 50 year old Pamma resident of Nakodar, 14 year old Tushar son of Makhan resident of Kapurthala, 45 year old Surjeet Kaur resident of Mothervet and Channo wife of Bholdas resident of Kapurthala. The police is investigating the matter and taking further action.
