In Udhampur district, a truck rammed the people protesting against the water shortage in Beshti village of Chinaini tehsil. 3 people have died while 6 protesters have been injured after being hit by a truck. Angered by this accident, people started protest by blocking the road. Police and administration officials have reached the spot. According to the information, on Friday morning, people of Beshti village were protesting against the water problem on the Sudh Mahadev-Chinani road. Meanwhile, a truck going from Suddhamahadev to Chinani went ahead crushing the demonstrators. The injured are being treated at the Chinaini Upazila Hospital.
