These are the new events postponed or canceled after the passage of Hurricane Fiona

The passage of Hurricane Fiona through Puerto Rico last Sunday has caused many artistic and musical events to be postponed or canceled in order to ensure public safety.

The producer Jorge Pabón “Mollusco” postponed the performances of the theatrical comedy “Eljuego del cab # 8n”, scheduled for Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18.

People with tickets for the show on Saturday the 17th will be able to attend next Saturday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. The show scheduled for Sunday the 18th will take place on Friday, September 23 at 8:30 p.m.

Great Artists at the Conservatory: Mané Galoyan

The organization CultureArt Puerto Rico announced the postponement of the concert “Great Artists at the Conservatory: Mané Galoyan”, which would be held on September 17. The new date announced is January 14, 2024.

“Forever loves” by Yolandita Monge

Saturday, October 15 will be the new date for the concert “Amores de siempre” by Yolandita Monge scheduled for last Saturday, September 17 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in District T-Mobile. The change of date is due to the situation that the country is going through after the passage of Hurricane Fiona.

Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra postpones concert in honor of John Williams’ 90th birthday

The Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra (OSPR) announced that the concert in honor of the 90th birthday of composer John Williams, which was scheduled for this Saturday, September 24, will be postponed to Saturday, October 15, at 7:00 pm in the Sala Sinfónica Pablo houses of the Fine Arts Center in Santurce. People who already had tickets will be able to use them for the new date.

The concert, which will be directed by the associate director of the OSPR, Rafael Enrique Irizarry, will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the award-winning American composer John Williams. With a career that has spanned seven decades, Williams has composed some of the most popular, recognizable and critically acclaimed film scores in cinema history. Throughout his successful career, the composer has won five Oscars, four Golden Globes, seven BAFTAs and twenty-five Grammys.

Tickets are available at ticketera.com and at the CBA ticket office in Santurce. People who have bought a ticket can use it for the new concert. However, those who cannot or do not wish to attend the new date may request a refund where they purchased the ticket.
