The miscreants took away a container full of 4.25 crore 5G mobile phones on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in Rewari, threw the driver in Rohtak

The miscreants robbed a container filled with new 5G mobile phones worth Rs 4.25 crore as soon as they left the warehouse of a company on the Delhi-Jaipur highway. The miscreants took the container as well as the hostage driver along with them and fled after throwing them in the Rohtak area. The police have recovered the empty container. Teams have been formed to nab the miscreants.

According to the information, DBG Technology Company located on Delhi-Jaipur Highway manufactures mobile phones. The company prepared a new 5G model, which was to be launched. Regarding this launch, the company had left its container for Noida from Bawal Company at 11 pm last night. In which mobile phones worth Rs 4.25 crore were kept. Krishna Kumar was on duty as the driver on the container. GPS was also installed in this container for safety.

As soon as the driver with the loaded container climbed onto Krishna Highway, four or five miscreants who were already waiting in ambush near the Asahi bridge at some distance, forcibly stopped the container. All these miscreants were in Mahindra TUV vehicle. As soon as the container stopped, the miscreants entered the cabin, overpowered the driver Krishna and took him hostage and put him in his Mahindra car. Later they captured the container and headed towards Rohtak. They beat up the driver and threw him at a secluded place in Rohtak area. Somehow, he informed the company managers about this incident. After that the Kasaula police station of Rewari came into action.

The company’s Assistant General Manager Urvashi Sharma said that new 5G mobile phones were kept in the looted container and they were being taken to Noida for launch. GPS was also installed in this container. An FIR has been lodged by giving a complaint to the Kasaula police station. The miscreants are yet to be found. The police is scrutinizing the CCTV footage installed at various places. Based on the location, the police have recovered an empty container from Rohtak.
