The first phase of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya completed, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the Shilapujan of the sanctum sanctorum

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday worshiped the holy sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and said the temple would be a “nation mandir” and a symbol of people’s faith. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the sanctum sanctorum amidst chanting in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and members of the Ram Mandir Trust. Adityanath said, “This temple will be a symbol of people’s faith. This will be a Rashtra Mandir and its work will proceed at full speed.

Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Maurya said, “The first phase of Ram temple construction has been completed and the second phase will start after the foundation stone of the sanctum sanctorum is laid.” and the first phase of construction has been completed. The second phase will begin with the laying of the foundation stone of the sanctum sanctorum.

Earlier, enthusiasm was witnessed among a large number of devotees for the construction of the holy sanctum. As the construction work of the sanctum sanctorum started from Wednesday, there is a festive atmosphere here. Similar enthusiasm was also visible in other monasteries and temples of Ayodhya and from the gates of Ayodhya city to the temples inside the city were decorated with colorful flowers and lamps.
