New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that everyone should be extra vigilant as the number of Omicron cases is on the rise in the country. Defensive operations during the Covid period should continue. “We must pledge that the fight against corona will continue to intensify as we enter the New Year,” he said.
“This is the last Mann Ki Baat of the year. Now I will talk to you next year. In the New Year, we can innovate ourselves and work for the betterment of the nation and the empowerment of our people,” he said.
People are flocking to know about Indian culture. People from many countries around the world are trying to get to know our culture and reach more people. The Prime Minister also suggested that more emphasis should be given to reading next year. Everyone should be prepared to share information about the books they have read this year. This will help others to find books to read in 2022.
The Prime Minister also paid tributes to Joint Chiefs of Staff Bipin Rawat and other soldiers who died in a military helicopter crash. The Prime Minister read out a letter sent by Captain Varun Singh to his school principal after receiving the Chaurya Chakra in August. Varun Singh had written in the letter that it was a big deal for him to be able to influence at least one child. But he is now inspiring the entire country, he said.
