After the publication of news in this regard in ‘Dainik Tribune’ on February 8, the hurdles coming in the way of repairing these roads have been removed. Now these roads will be dazzling. After the publication of the news, the government has accepted the demands of the contractors who went on strike.

When the way for the repair of the roads was opened, the people here and the concerned contractors have expressed their gratitude to ‘Dainik Tribune’. Not only this, it has also been announced to fill the tender for repairing the roads. State President of PWD Contractors Association Vijay Kansal said, after the news was published in ‘Dainik Tribune’, the government has accepted our demands. Now the way has been opened for repairing 56 broken roads of Guhla Chika area. In the case of these roads, officials and other people involved in various ways say that not only has there been hope for the repair of 56 broken roads in the Guhla Chika area, but also about 30 kilometers of dilapidated road between Kaithal Chika and Kaithal Chika for the last two years. There will be many too. A tender worth Rs 8.34 crore has been floated regarding this road. Even before this the tender was issued by the department, but due to some reasons it was left. Now a fresh tender has been issued. It has been told that the tender has got administrative approval. Be aware that this is the main road connecting Haryana to Punjab.

Exec of PWD Department KS Pathania said that a tender of Rs 8.34 crore has been floated for the road from Kaithal to Cheeka. Its receiving is till 22 February. Road construction will start as soon as the tender is opened from the contractor’s side. Now it is expected that work on this will start soon.

There will be all-round development of the area: MLA

In this regard, MLA Ishwar Singh said that it is the ultimate duty of the government and the MLA to get the development work done. He said that due to some technical reasons the work on roads in Guhla Cheeka area was stalled. Soon, not only the work on the roads will start, but vehicles will also ply on the roads. MLA Ishwar Singh said, ‘There will be all-round development of the area. This is our responsibility.

The government has accepted our demands. First there was the issue of increasing GST. The government has accepted our pending demands. Now the notification for road construction has been done. Work will be done soon.
