Teatro en 15 premieres February billboard

Inspired by the month of love and friendship, the cultural proposal Theater at 15 take the stage today, February 3with a new comedy and drama billboard, as announced by the municipality of San Juan. The new season of the theatrical project, which It is presented at the Cultural House on Calle San Sebastián #111 in Old San Juanconsists of six pieces of microtheatre.

Miguel A. Romero Lugo, mayor of the capital, expressed confidence that the reopening of this new theatrical proposal, which had been postponed due to the uptick in cases of COVID-19count on the support of the public, because it is a cultural space that allows the union of the best talent of the patio.

We bet that this new season will be a success, since the billboard was inspired and designed precisely in the celebration that characterizes February as the month of love and friendship. We invite men and women from San Juan, Puerto Ricans in general, as well as tourists to enjoy the six works and complement their visit to Old San Juan with a gastronomic experience, as only our walled city can offer within the framework of its fifth centenary”, highlighted the municipal executive.

Among the works presented by Teatro en 15 are “My favorite toxic”, which tells the story of a jealous and compulsive woman who receives a dose of her own medicine; the play “Story of Hope”, which revives the story of an old love and a possible reunion; and a “Ellipsis Love”, where a couple meets through letters and lies are part of their relationship. Also, the public will be able to enjoy “The strongest one”a work in which a woman meets her husband’s lover in a cafe, and while some celebrate love, others heartbreak with a cup of chocolate; “To the Rhythm of Love”, which tells the story of an employee who must achieve the cupid operation, benefiting the hotel industry through technology; and the work “The Stuff of Love”which exposes the end of a long bisexual relationship and new beginnings.

The new billboard will be presented until February 27, with shows from Thursday to Saturday from 6:00 to 10:00 pm On Sundays, the show hours are from 1:00 to 5:00 pm Each work has 15 spaces available to the public. The doors of the Cultural House of Old San Juan open one hour before the start of the billboard so that attendees can buy tickets, the cost of which is $5 per work.

In compliance with the most recent Executive Order, issued by the Governor of Puerto Rico, Pedro R. Pierluisi, any person who wishes to participate in Teatro en 15 must present evidence of vaccination or a negative test for COVID-19, valid for no more than 48 hours. The use of masks is required at all times during functions and before entering the establishment. The above provisions will not apply to children under 5 years of age, who cannot attend mass events, except for a waiver from the Department of Health, as provided by a municipal ordinance.
