T20 India won by Harmanpreet, Mandhana’s half-centuries

Smriti Mandhana and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur scored unbeaten half-centuries to help the Indian women’s cricket team beat West Indies by 56 runs in the first match of the T20I series. The Indian team, which won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 167 runs for two wickets in 20 overs. In response, the West Indies team could only manage 111 runs for four wickets. Harmanpreet scored 51 runs in 35 balls with the help of eight fours. Mandhana scored 74 runs in 51 balls. He hit ten fours and a six.
