Chandigarh, October 10 (Trinew)
Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Deependra Singh Hooda has cornered the state’s BJP-JJP coalition government on the issue of jobs. He said that Haryana has reached number one in unemployment in the country. Instead of youth from the state, youth from other states are getting government jobs. Jobs in Haryana Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission are being sold like groceries. In the press conference held in Chandigarh on Tuesday, Deependra said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal rejects the CMIE report, but now the Central Government itself has accepted that unemployment is highest in Haryana. When a question was raised in this regard in the monsoon session of Parliament, Union Labor and Employment Minister Rameshwar Teli said in a written report that the unemployment rate in the state was 2.9 percent in 2013-14. Now it has increased to 9 percent.
Deependra said that during the Congress rule, Haryana was number one in providing jobs, per capita income and per capita investment. The Congress leader alleged that local youth of Haryana are being deprived of government jobs as part of a conspiracy. The BJP-JJP government talks about giving reservation to 75 percent local people in private jobs. In fact, it is moving ahead with the policy of recruiting outsiders in 75 percent of government jobs. MLA Geeta Bhukkal, Rao Dan Singh, Mewa Singh, Jagbir Singh Malik, Youth Congress State President Divyanshu Budhiraja, NSUI President Avinash Yadav were also present in the conference.
Keeping the figures, Deependra said that HPSC had issued recruitment for 600 ADO posts for the Agriculture Department. But only 57 candidates passed and were called for interview and out of them only 50 were selected. Surprisingly, out of 23 posts of general category in the recruitment, candidates from outside Haryana were selected on 16 posts. Earlier, in the recruitment of SDO Electrical in February 2021, 99 people were selected for 90 posts. Of these, 77 were from outside and only 22 were from Haryana.
Avinash, Tanveer took charge
Deependra made NSUI President Avinash Yadav and newly appointed President of Haryana Congress Unorganized Workers, Workers, Employees Organization Tanveer take charge at the party headquarters. On this occasion, state president Udaybhan, party leader Anil Dhankhar and many senior leaders were present. On this occasion, the State President said that NSUI is an important organization of the student wing of the party and the role of students is very important in the change of power. The policies of the Congress Party will have to be conveyed to the students through this organization.
