Asit Fernando’s scintillating bowling helped Sri Lanka win the two-Test series 1-0 after beating Bangladesh by 10 wickets on the fifth and final day of the second Test here on Friday. Bangladesh’s score was at one point 156 for five in the second innings and the hosts looked to be headed for a draw, but were on 169 for a career-best six by Fernando (6 for 51). Stacked up.

Fernando, who took four wickets for 93 runs in the first innings, took 10 wickets in the match for the first time in his career.
