Spider-Man returns to the top of the movie box office

After spending a weekend in second place, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was again the highest grossing film in US theaters this weekend.

The Sony-made film spent its sixth weekend in theaters becoming the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time globally.

The film grossed $14.1 million this weekend., according to study estimates released Sunday. globally has amassed nearly $1.7 billion, surpassing “JurassicWorld” Y “The Lion King”. It is the fourth highest-grossing film in North America historically, with $721 million.

replaces “Scream”, whose admissions were down 59% – which is normal for a horror film – in its second weekend in theaters with $12.4 million. The Paramount-made film has amassed $51.3 million to date.

“Sing 2″ moves to a third place in its fifth weekend in theaters with $5.7 million. The animated film has amassed $241.2 million worldwide.

There was little competition for established movies this weekend. The only two premieres were relatively low-key: “The King’s Daughter” Y “Redeeming Love”.
