Smriti Mandhana sold in the Women’s Premier League auction, bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 3.40 crores

Mumbai/New Delhi, February 13 (Agencies)For the first time in the auction of the Women’s Premier League, Smriti Mandhana has become rich. Mandhana was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for 3.40 crores. While Australia’s Ashley Garner was included in the team by Gujarat Giants for 3.20 crores. At the same time, Team India’s star player Deepti Sharma was bought by UP Warriors for Rs 2.60 crore, while the base price of Deepti Sharma was kept at Rs 50 lakh. Australia’s legend all-rounder Alyssa Perry will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has been bought for Rs 1.70 crore. Alyssa’s base price was Rs 50 lakh. Hilly Mathew of the West Indies went unsold. Team India’s captain Harmanpreet Kaur got the second bid. His base price was also Rs 50 lakh. Harmanpreet Kaur has been bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.80 crore. Any franchise can buy only seven foreign players.
