Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana became the highest-paid player at the auction for the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) held here on Monday as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) outbid Mumbai Indians for Rs 3.40 crore (Rs 410,000).
