Former cricketer and Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, who is lodged in Patiala Jail, was brought to PGI Chandigarh on Monday, where he has been admitted. Sidhu is lodged in Patiala jail for the past few days in the road rage case and is allergic to wheat. Sidhu had liver problem for the past several days, due to which his health deteriorated on Monday. He was brought from jail to Chandigarh PGI. Here he was shown in the Department of Hepatology. His liver related tests were done. After this, he was discharged after prescribing some medicines. His health deteriorated again in Patiala and he was again brought to PGI. HOD of Heptology Department Prof. Virendra Singh told that Sidhu has been admitted for treatment.
