14 students and teacher shot dead in Texas primary school

A shocking incident has come to light in a Texas school. An 18-year-old gunman shot and killed 14 children and a teacher at a primary school in Texas on Tuesday. According to the governor of the state, this is a deadly attack in the country’s school. It is being told that this attack took place in Uvalde, Texas.

“The attacker shot and killed 14 students and killed a teacher,” Governor Greg Abbott told a news conference. The governor said a local teenager could be among the dead.
It is being told that more than 500 students are studying in the school. Here the financially disadvantaged students help in their schooling. Ted Cruz, a US senator from Texas, tweeted that he and his wife were praying for the well-being of children in the wake of the horrific attack in Uvalde.
Let us tell you that this is believed to be the biggest attack on a school since the death of 14 high school students and three employees in Parkland, Florida in 2018.
In 2012, 20 children and six workers were killed at a primary school in Connecticut. President Joe Biden has been briefed about the Texas attack. Local police said a suspect has been taken into custody after a shootout that began around noon.
