Senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal has filed nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections as an independent candidate with the support of the Samajwadi Party (SP). Sources gave this information. Earlier, the political stir had intensified when it was being said that Kapil Sibal had filed nomination for the Rajya Sabha elections as a candidate of the Samajwadi Party. Later the sources clarified the situation.
