Selling Chinese goods at Rahul’s ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’: Anurag Thakur

New Delhi, August 7 (Language)Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday alleged that China, the website ‘Newsclick’ and the Congress have an integral connection with ‘anti-India’. He made this remark in reference to reports that Chinese companies were funding the said portal.

Addressing a press conference held at the BJP headquarters along with Union Minister Rajiv Chandrashekhar, Thakur alleged, “China’s goods are being sold at Rahul ji’s fake ‘Mohabbat Ki Dukan’.” He said, ‘If you look at the funding network of NewsClick, it is funded by foreigner Neville Roy Singham and he gets this amount from China. This Neville Roy Singham is directly related to the propaganda unit of ‘Chinese Communist Party’ and China’s media company ‘Maku Group’. Thakur claimed that the ‘foreign hand’ in the news portal was revealed in 2021. He alleged, ‘They fabricate fake news in the name of independent news. Congress and other parties support him.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey raised in the Lok Sabha the news published in New York Times newspaper according to which Newsclick was funded by Chinese companies and that amount was used to create an anti-India atmosphere. There was no immediate response from the news portal or the Congress regarding this news.
