Ukraine War: The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement regarding the attack in Donetsk, Ukraine. In which it said, “On March 14, the Ukrainian army attacked a Tochka-U tactical missile around a residential area in Donetsk. In this attack 20 people were killed and 28 people were seriously injured.

  1. US President Joe Biden announced that Ukraine would be given arms against Russia. He also said that humanitarian aid will be sent to Ukraine and refugees will be given shelter in America. Joe Biden said, “We will make sure Ukraine has weapons to defend itself.   2. Ukraine’s President Zelensky introduced a bill in parliament late Monday that seeks to extend martial law for another 30 days from March 24. The war in Ukraine began on 24 February. Expressing concern over the deteriorating situation in Ukraine, Guterres said that it is time to stop the continuing atrocities on the people of Ukraine and follow the path of diplomacy and peace.

  9. China on Monday termed as malicious the US allegation that Russia has sought China’s cooperation in the ongoing military operation against Ukraine. Along with this, China also accused America of spreading misinformation against Ukraine regarding the issue. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said during the press conference that Beijing is playing an important role to promote peace talks.

  10. Amidst the ongoing war in Ukraine, Russia has requested both military and economic help from China. Earlier in the midst of the ongoing war with Ukraine, it was reported that Russia sought military aid from China, including drones. Military equipment has been sought from China since the February 24 invasion of Ukraine. However, a spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington said that he had no information about this.
