Russia deploys nuclear weapons in Belarus | The truth

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko assured this Thursday that “several dozen” Russian tactical nuclear weapons had been established in his country under an agreement reached last year with his ally Vladimir Putin. In statements made to the TASS news agency, he noted that the device began to be installed in June, in what constitutes the first deployment of nuclear missiles carried out by the Kremlin on foreign territory since the Soviet era.

The operation would be justified by the “high risk” of military incidents occurring on the dividing line with Ukraine. In this sense, he urged the Polish Government to “avoid aggressive actions” and also announced that he had decided to transfer several battalions located in the Vitebsk region, on the border with Russia, to areas near the western part of Belarus.

Lukashenko blamed the United States that “some forces and means are being used to intensify threats against national security.” «The main risk has been created in a specific area in the region: Ukraine. “Washington is doing everything possible to lead us into that conflict and weaken the regions of Eastern Europe,” he asserted. Regarding the situation on the front, Lukashenko again regretted the heavy fighting and loss of life, as well as the attacks suffered by Russian infrastructure.

In relation to the financial aid to kyiv approved this week by the US Congress, he maintained that “not offering this money would have been a missed opportunity to weaken us and weaken Russia.” “The delivery of $60 billion for the war is an important factor in increasing tension in Ukraine and is very dangerous,” he pointed out before stating that the Kremlin Army is equipping itself with “new weapons and large reserves.” In this sense, he emphasized that Russian forces “continue to advance”, despite it being a “slow process.”
