Rain in Rohtak exposed the claims of the government: Deependra Hooda - dainiktribuneonline.com

Rohtak, March 3 (Nis)

Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda said that a little rain exposed the corruption of the BJP-JJP government in Rohtak. He questioned that under the Amrit Yojana, Rs 300 crore which was to be spent on the city’s sewerage system, drainage, cleanliness and maintenance of parks, where did that money go?

In Rohtak, broken roads, collapsed sewerage, lack of drinking water, poor sanitation system and poor condition of parks are telling of the failure of this government. He alleged that due to the collusion of the coalition government and scammers, Rs 300 crores were lost in the scam. Instead of taking action against those responsible for the scam, the government continued to suppress the news of the scam and protect the scammers. MP Deepender Hooda was talking to journalists after the function organized on the occasion of merger of Bharatiya Kamara Varga Party with Congress on Sunday.

He said that the condition of the city has become bad due to just a little rain, if this is the condition now then what will happen during the rainy season in July-August. He said that due to accumulation of rain water, most parts of the city turned into ponds. He said that if the government had made proper arrangements for sewerage, drainage cleaning and drainage, the situation would not have been so bad. He said that farmers across the state have suffered huge losses due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm. Due to this, standing crops of mustard and wheat were ruined.

He demanded the government to immediately issue special Girdawari orders and give the compensation amount to the farmers. He said that the BJP-JJP government has proved to be a completely anti-farmer government. Somewhere it is the arbitrariness of the insurance companies and somewhere it is the influence of the weather.
