Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday again appeared in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office after three consecutive days of questioning last week in an alleged money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper and is being questioned by the probe agency. . Rahul Gandhi arrived at the ED headquarters located on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in central Delhi at around 11.05 am with “Z+” category security of CRPF personnel.

Rahul Gandhi, 52, was questioned by ED officials for over 30 hours last week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for three consecutive days during which his statements under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) were recorded. He was to appear again before the probe agency last Friday, but the former Congress president wrote a letter to the ED’s investigating officer to exempt him from the interrogation scheduled for Friday (June 17) as his mother Sonia Gandhi was ill. requested.
