There has been news of the deteriorating health of Queen Elizabeth II from Britain. Buckingham Palace has reported that doctors are “concerned” about the Queen’s health and have proposed that she be kept under medical supervision. The 96-year-old queen has recovered from several health issues since October last year, but due to this she has faced difficulties in walking and standing.

On Wednesday, the Queen did not attend a pre-planned meeting with her senior political advisers after being advised to rest. Earlier, he had met Boris Johnson, who stepped down as prime minister, and appointed new prime minister Liz Truss at Balmoral, a palace in the Scottish mountains.

Prince Charles and William are currently visiting Balmoral, Kessington Palace. “Following her health check-up this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned about her health and have advised her to remain under medical observation,” Buckingham Paysell said in a release.

Buckingham Palace has said the Queen is at ease at Balmoral. It is very rare to get a release from the palace regarding the health of the Queen. Shortly before this, the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss and her team were given this information in Parliament and they were asked to prepare to leave the chamber.

Truss then tweeted: “The entire nation is concerned about the news from Buckingham Palace. My best wishes to the people of Britain and the British at this time are with the Queen and her family.”

The Queen’s heiress, Prince Charles, 73, and his eldest son, Prince William, 40, are on their way to Scotland.
