Power failure in many areas of Mumbai and surrounding suburbs, people troubled by heat

There was a power outage in the nearby cities of Dombivali at around 10 am.

Mumbai:

There was a power outage in many areas of the country’s financial capital Mumbai and its surrounding suburbs on Tuesday morning. These cuts have been made at a time when the state is grappling with power shortage, due to which the power distribution companies (discoms) are compulsorily forced to cut power supply in some areas. According to reports, parts of central Mumbai as well as suburbs like Bhandup and Mulund in Mumbai’s municipal area and adjoining cities of Thane and Dombivli were hit by power cuts around 10 am.

.

On the other hand, two tweets were made by Tata Power today regarding the problem of electricity. In which it was said that power supply has been disrupted in many areas due to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) line tripping. A tweet read that Tata Power would like to inform you that as part of 400KV Kalwa grid supplying electricity MSETCL line tripping has caused power problem in some parts of Mumbai.
