The Supreme Court on Thursday refused to entertain a plea seeking extension of the 92 ‘in-service quota seats’ of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) super-specialty 2021 returned by Tamil Nadu. and to make them available to all the candidates, even if they have appeared in the first round. A bench of Justices CT Ravikumar and Sudhanshu Dhulia said that on May 9, the court allowed a ‘mop-up’ round for vacant super-specialty seats with the condition that if a doctor has already joined, He will not be allowed to join again.
