The Singaporean businessman peter limlargest shareholder of Valencia CFhas dismissed the controversial anil murthy as president of the club and is looking for a new president for the Mestalla entity.
Like this it has informed it this Monday the club hey in a statement directly linking his departure to the leak of the Murthy audios, published two weeks ago by the newspaper super sportwhich leave the former president of Valencia portrayed.
“The council considers that a change in leadership is required to regain credibility of the fans and the community in order to position Valencia CF on the path to success. With immediate effect, Anil Murthy will cease to be president and employee of Valencia CF.”
In addition, Valencia has communicated that Sean Baicurrent director of the Academy, has been appointed interim general director of the entity, and that Khojama Kalimuddinnon-executive director of Valencia, will assume the position of president of the board of directors to supervise the management of the club during this transition period.

The Board of Directors of the Valencia CF refers to the recent events that unfortunately have affected the Club’s relationship with the fans, the government authorities and the Valencian civil society. The Council wishes to clarify that the content of the leaked conversations between anil murthy and various third parties are personal opinions of Anil Murthy and not of Valencia CF. Valencia CF disassociates himself from said opinions.
The Council values the importance of a close relationship between the Club, society, the fans, government authorities, the media and other actors linked to Valencia CF. The Council considers that a change in leadership is required to regain credibility with fans and the community in order to position Valencia CF on the path to success. Effective immediately, Anil Murthy will cease to be president and employee of Valencia CF.
The Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Bai as interim CEO. Sean Bai has been with the club since 2018 and is currently the Director of the Valencia CF Academy. During this interim period, Bai will primarily oversee Valencia CF’s football operations and report directly to the Board.
The Council will immediately begin a search process to identify a new President of Valencia CF, and an announcement will be made in due course. In the meantime, Khojama Kalimuddina non-executive director of Valencia CF, will assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors to supervise the administration of the Club during this period.
The Board wishes to reiterate that Valencia CF is fully committed to achieving its long-term growth and success and completing the construction of the New Mestalla. We look forward to working together with fans, authorities and other stakeholders to achieve these goals.
