Panaji: Odisha FC beat East Bengal by two goals to one in the ISL. Jonathan de Jesus and Javier Hernandez found the target for Odisha in a match played at the Goa Tilak Maidan Stadium. Antonio Perosevic scored for East Bengal.
Odisha took the lead in the 23rd minute through Jonaths. However, in the 64th minute, East Bengal held on for Perosevic. Hernandez scored Odisha’s winning goal in the 75th minute.
With the win, Odisha are sixth with 21 points from 15 matches. East Bengal are tenth in the table with 10 points from 16 matches. Hyderabad leads the league with 26 points. Kerala Blasters (23 points) are in the second position and Bangalore FC is in the third position.
