Now no train will run on coal in Haryana

Today another dimension was added to the success of the development works being done continuously by the double engine government at the Center and Haryana when the work of 100 percent railway electrification in Haryana was successfully completed. Praising Haryana for this achievement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that many new opportunities for development will be available due to railway electrification. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav informed about the completion of 100 percent work of railway electrification in Haryana by tweeting.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal thanked the Prime Minister and the Union Railway Minister on behalf of the people of Haryana for this achievement. Manohar Lal said that with the leadership and inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state of Haryana is continuously moving forward on the path of development. Prime Minister Modi said in a tweet, ‘Congratulations Haryana! There will be many benefits from this achievement.

Haryana’s existing broad gauge network of 1,701 route kilometers is now 100 per cent electrified. Haryana comes under the jurisdiction of Northern, North Central and North Western Railways. Some of the major railway stations in Haryana include Ambala, Panipat, Gurugram, Kurukshetra, Hisar Junction, Rewari Junction, Rohtak Junction and Bhiwani. Some of the popular trains passing through Haryana are Kalka Shatabdi Express, Himalayan Queen, Kalka Mail, Paschim Express, Golden Temple Mail and Kalinga Utkal Express. These trains connect different parts of the state and major cities of India.
