Delhi Police sent notice to BJP MP Tejaswi Surya in connection with vandalism outside Arvind Kejriwal’s house over Kashmir files. According to sources, Surya has given his written reply. He will be under investigation soon. North Delhi Police had sent notices to a total of 26 protesters in this case asking them to join the police interrogation. Out of which about 25 protesters have joined the questioning. Most of them are from BJP Yuva Morcha. A total of 8 protesters were arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with this incident.
It is worth noting that on March 30, a demonstration was held on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha in protest against the statement made by Kejriwal on the film ‘The Kashmir Files’, during which this incident of sabotage came to light. 150 to 200 workers , Kejriwal had come to protest outside the residence.
There was also a box of paint in the hands of the protesters. Paint was poured on the gate of the Chief Minister’s residence, boom barrier and CCTV camera were found broken. The police have detained 70 people in the case. Significantly, there is a war of words between the BJP and the AAP over the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Kejriwal had recently targeted the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Delhi Assembly on this issue.
