After performing in 2016 two totally sold-out performances in the Luis A. Ferré Fine Arts Centerin Santurce, seven years later, the same room returns on Cuban National Ballet. The presentation will take place on November 25. The prolonged absence of the group on the island’s stages has been due, in part, to its busy schedule and an international billboard that had not allowed scheduling this desired return to Puerto Rico.
On this occasion they will premiere in Puerto Rico with two pieces, “Don Quixote” and “Carmen”, with a stellar performance by its executive director and prima ballerina. viengsay valdes.
Valdés, who is considered by international critics as one of the best classical ballet dancers in the world, had visited the island on previous occasions, earning recognition from ballet connoisseurs and the Puerto Rican public.
As part of its third visit to the country, the National Ballet of Cuba will be providing a special master class for all the ballet schools in Puerto Rico, in the Fine Arts Festival hall.
Tickets for this great presentation will be on sale starting this Wednesday, August 9 at Ticketera.
