Biden said on Twitter on Friday, “India is a strong partner of America, and I look forward to supporting my friend Prime Minister Modi during India’s G20 presidency.”
Responding to Modi’s tweet, the US President also underlined that the two countries will “advance shared challenges such as climate, energy and food crises to advance sustainable and inclusive growth”. In this tweet there was a link to the Prime Minister’s blog.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said India will work to promote unity inspired by the theme of “one earth, one family, one future” and listed terror, climate change, pandemic as biggest challenges. Will do which together can be fought in a better way.
“India’s G-20 priorities will be shaped in consultation not only with our G-20 partners, but also with our fellow countries in the southern part of the world, whose voices are often unheard,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that India’s G-20 agenda will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented and decisive. Let us unite to make India’s G20 presidency a presidency of protection, harmony and hope. Let us work together to shape a new paradigm of human-centred globalization.
