Women’s Kho-Kho team of Kurukshetra University has qualified for All India Inter University by defeating Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut 19-03. In the ongoing North Zone Inter University Kho-Kho Women’s Championship session 2021-22 at Lovely Professional University, Kurukshetra University team performed excellently by defeating Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut by 3 points in 19 matches in a one-sided match. I have qualified for All India Inter University to be held from 5th to 7th July 2022. Kuvi team ensured the medal by defeating Chandigarh University by 09-03 in their first league match. Players of Kho-Kho team Meenu, Anu, Nikita, Rakhi, Priyanka, Jayawati and Renu gave excellent performance. The next two matches of North Zone Inter University Competition will be held with MD University Rohtak on 22nd June evening and Lovely Professional University on 23rd June morning. Kurukshetra University Vice Chancellor Professor Somnath Sachdeva and Registrar Dr Sanjeev Sharma congratulated the team players and coach Ravinder and manager Miss Sangeeta.
