Justin Trudeau said- killing of children in Gaza should stop, Netanyahu replied

1200 Israelis were killed in the attacks carried out by Hamas on October 7. Referring to this, Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a post on Committed genocide.”

Benjamin Netanyahu said, “While Israel is doing everything it can to keep civilians out of harm’s way, Hamas is doing everything it can to keep them in harm’s way.”

He said that when Israel provides humanitarian corridors and safe zones to civilians in Gaza, Hamas prevents them from leaving at gunpoint.

,‘The forces of civilization should support Israel in defeating the barbarity of Hamas.’

The Israeli Prime Minister said, “It is Hamas, not Israel, that should be held responsible for committing a double war crime – targeting civilians while hiding behind civilian lines. The forces of civilization should support Israel in defeating Hamas’s barbarity.”

Justin Trudeau’s above comment has come amid growing concern across the world over the situation in the densely populated area on the Gaza Strip. Israel’s war against Hamas has left more than 11,000 people dead in Gaza and displaced more than 1.5 million people. Heartbreaking images of newborn babies being kept together to keep them warm after incubators stopped working due to power cuts have drawn the world’s attention to the unfolding humanitarian crisis.

Three of 39 premature babies died after the generators running the incubators in Gaza’s Al Shifa hospital ran out of fuel.

The killings of women, children and infants must be stopped

Justin Trudeau said at an event, “I urge the Israeli government to exercise maximum restraint. The world is watching on TV, on social media – we are listening to the testimony of doctors, family members, survivors, those children Who have lost their parents.” At a press conference in British Columbia, he said, “The world is watching the murder of women, children and infants. It has to stop.”

This was Trudeau’s strongest comment on Israel since the war began. The Canadian prime minister also said Hamas should stop using Palestinians as human shields and release the more than 200 Israeli hostages it holds.
