Security forces have taken violent action against the demonstrations against the ban on the hijab in Iran. At least 31 civilians have been killed in this case by Iranian security forces. According to the video shared on social media, after the death of Mahsa Amini, many women have started protesting by taking off the hijab. In several posts on social media, it is being claimed that Amini was physically tortured by the police for not wearing a hijab, due to which she died during treatment in the hospital due to head injury. However, this fact has not been confirmed. According to the police, Amini had fallen ill after being taken into custody, which led to her death.
