International Yoga Day or World Yoga Day is celebrated every year on 21 June. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had laid its foundation. During his speech at the UNO General Assembly on 27 September 2014, he highlighted the need for this. After this, in the year 2015, the General Assembly of UNO announced to celebrate International Yoga Day on 21st June.
