India will need one lakh drone pilots in the coming years: Scindia

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Tuesday that India will need around one lakh drone pilots in the coming years. Scindia said in a program of NITI Aayog that 12 ministries of the central government are currently working to increase the demand for drone services in the country. “We are trying to take the drone sector forward on three ‘wheels’,” he said. 12th pass person can take training, monthly salary will be up to Rs 30,000

Twelve ministries of the central government are trying to create demand for drone services. He said that only 12th pass person can be given training of drone pilot. It does not require a college degree. He said that after just two-three months of training, one can become a drone pilot and earn a monthly salary of Rs 30,000.
