India beat Australia by six wickets in the rain-hit second T20I to level the series 1-1. Earlier the match was restricted to eight overs due to rain. India won the toss and invited Australia to bat. Thanks to the innings of Aaron Finch (31) and Matthew Wade (43), Australia scored 90 runs for the loss of five wickets in 8 overs. Chasing the target for India, captain Rohit Sharma played an unbeaten innings of 46 runs. In the first two balls of the last over, Dinesh Karthik hit a six and a four to give India victory.
