Huge crowd from Juhu Beach in Mumbai to Sarojini Nagar Market in Delhi, flouting of rules

Crowds of people are gathering in the election campaign rallies and public meetings of Uttar Pradesh including metros like Delhi, Mumbai. The administrative agencies that make and enforce the rules are also watching all this silently as a mute spectator. Be it Mumbai or Delhi, there seems to be a violation of the rules of Corona in both the places between Christmas and New Year holidays. Despite the imposition of Section 144 in Mumbai till December 31, people were seen in large numbers at Juhu Chowpatty on Saturday evening, neither social distancing was seen, nor the rules of Corona were followed. After a video of a huge crowd in Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar market surfaced, the administration ordered the shops to be opened on the basis of odd-even.

Amidst rising case of Omicron, rules were flouted in Sarojini Nagar market, video of crowd went viral

This crowd is visible in these metros when the cases of corona and its Omicron variant are increasing continuously. On Saturday, 249 corona-infected patients were found in Delhi, which is the highest number of cases in a single day after June 13. 757 corona infected patients were found in Mumbai on Saturday. This is the highest number of cases in a single day after June 24.
Before the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi are all seen holding election rallies.

On the call of Priyanka Gandhi, the girls gathered in the marathon defying the order of the UP government

Whereas night curfew has been announced in UP from December 25 in view of the increasing cases of corona. But only the government staff is busy trying to make the rallies successful. Recently, there was a crowd in PM Modi’s rallies, while addressing the country on Saturday night, the Prime Minister was seen talking to the people to follow the rules. He had said, I would urge all of you not to panic, be careful, be alert, make full use of masks and wash hands once in a while, we should not forget these things.

On Sunday morning, a marathon was organized under the campaign organized by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. In this, a large number of women were seen without masks. When Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala was asked about the crowd, he cited a program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be held on January 2 and said that the UP government is gathering 25 thousand players for the PM’s program but Congress’s Programs are being stopped.

After the condition of hospitals and large-scale deaths in the second wave of Corona, it was thought that the rules would be followed properly in future, but by the end of the year, crowds have started appearing everywhere. Even when the Omicron variant is rapidly spreading its wings in the country.
