“Helped Imran Khan to become PM, but have regrets”: Former Pakistan cricket captain

Former Pakistan cricket team captain Javed Miandad said he helped Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan become prime minister, but he regrets it, ARY News reported on Saturday.

During an interview with ARY News, cricketer Javed Miandad revealed that he helped PTI chairman become PM but regrets that he never thanked him.

Answering a question, he said that my father was very fond of cricket, ‘I and all my brothers used to play on the streets as well as on the terrace.’

According to ARY News, Javed Miandad said that whenever he played for the national team, he tried to keep the margin of defeat to a minimum, adding that no player objected to his captaincy.
