Headquarters: Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale

UA new page opens for Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, the ninth largest banking group in the euro zone, also present in the insurance sector, which brings together 14 Crédit Mutuel federations out of 18, as well as other brands, such as CIC or Cofidis. The left-wing enarch Nicolas Théry, its president since 2016, chose not to carry out his mandate until its end, scheduled for 2025. The change, however, occurs in continuity since the one who was chosen to replace him for a four-year mandate is none other than his former number 2. After having been general manager, Daniel Baal (66 years old, master’s degree in management from EDC Paris Business School) was therefore elected on April 4 to the position of president, following a vote by the leaders of the 14 Crédit Mutuel federations which make up the Alliance Fédérale, representing 6, 3 million members. For this sports banker, former president of the French Cycling Federation, it is the culmination of a career that began in the commitments department of Crédit Mutuel de Strasbourg in 1979. Eric Petitgand (59 years old, DESS management control and audit from IAE Paris Sorbonne Business School) became general director of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, after having managed the group’s agricultural fund and the CCS (means of payment, support functions, etc.) . Anne Sophie Van Hoove (50 years old, Master I in business law from the University of Caen, Master II in banking, finance and insurance from the IAE of Caen) is the Deputy Managing Director of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale and the Managing Director of CCS. Eric Charpentier (63 years old, ENS, aggregation of mathematics, DEA from Paris-Dauphine, financial technical master’s degree from Essec) is Managing Director of the Banque fédérative du Crédit Mutuel, notably in charge of CIB (Corporate & Institutional Banking) and management of assets for the entire group, as well as CEO of the CIC. Finally, Claude Koestner (53 years old, DEA in science and management from the IAE of Dijon), current deputy general director of the CIC, will become its next CEO, at the latest in the first half of 2025 § François Miguet
