Haryana is the state giving highest pension to the elderly: Manohar - dainiktribuneonline.com

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said on Tuesday that Haryana is the state that gives maximum pension to the elderly in the country. The pension of the elderly will soon be increased to Rs 3,000. He said that now the citizens of the state do not have to run around for pension after completing 60 years of age. Pension is being made automatically through family identity card. Chief Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh was addressing the public dialogue program in the IG Auditorium of Haryana Agricultural University. During this time, he made pension cards of 22 people and provided them on the spot. The Chief Minister said that the power lines passing over the houses of citizens in the state will be removed. For this, the government has set a budget of Rs 151 crore.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal paid tribute to the 7 citizens of Hisar who lost their lives in a road accident in Uttarakhand by observing two minutes of silence. Earlier, the Chief Minister also provided handicapped assistive devices to the disabled with the help of Red Cross. He visited the stalls of products made by women of self-help groups to promote domestic products.

On this occasion, Urban Local Bodies Minister Dr. Kamal Gupta, MP Dr. DP Vats, Mayor Gautam Sardana and officials were present. Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced the construction of Hisar to Khanak road to be built at a cost of Rs 37 crore and Hisar to Balsamand road to be built at a cost of Rs 8 crore. The Chief Minister said that tenders for 14 roads worth Rs 26 crore have already been made, work on which will start soon.

Hisar (HP): Addressing the closing ceremony of the agricultural fair organized at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that the canal will definitely be constructed on the orders of the Supreme Court on SYL. The double face of Aam Aadmi Party has come to light on SYL Canal. The farmers of Haryana understand those doing double-minded politics and their double-minded politics will not work here. He said that SYL is the right of Haryana and it will be implemented in view of the decision of the Supreme Court.

The Chief Minister also released three books compiled by Chaudhary Charan Singh Agricultural University. All these books have been written on agriculture and farmer upliftment. On this occasion, Haryana Bureau of Public Enterprises Chairman Subhash Barala, Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board Chairman Aditya Devi Lal, Agriculture Department Principal Secretary Vijayendra Kumar, Agriculture Vice Chancellor BR Kamboj etc. were present.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal obtained information by observing the exhibitions of various types of agricultural equipment, fertilizers and seeds. Addressing the farmers, the Chief Minister said that the sons and daughters of the farmers of the state have brought glory to the state. Players from Haryana have won 30 percent of the medals in the Asian Games.

The Chief Minister said that today is the era of modernity. New technology and mechanization have started being used in farming. Farmers no longer have to do much work with their hands. Modernity has made the work of farmers more easy.

Jind farmer Bharat Singh got a tractor

In the agricultural fair, Chief Minister Manohar Lal took out the prizes from the lucky draw by pressing the button. In this, farmer Bharat Singh of Mohan Kheda village of Jind district got a tractor worth Rs 7 lakh, 50 thousand. Ajit Singh of Kirdhan village of Fatehabad district got a tractor worth Rs 3 lakh, 50 thousand. Surjeet of Tibbi village of Fatehabad district got a land leveler machine worth Rs 2 lakh, 50 thousand, Gurpinder Singh of Ganga Abdul village of Punjab got a super seater machine worth Rs 1 lakh, 75 thousand and Ankit of Darodi village of Jind district got it. Electric power weeder machine worth Rs 74 thousand was received. During this time, the Chief Minister called the farmers who were not present on the spot and gave them the good news of the award.

Kisan fair will be organized on the lines of Surajkund: Dalal

Agriculture Minister JP Dalal said that in future a farmers fair will be organized in Hisar on the lines of Surajkund fair. In this, work will be done to provide information about all the latest research and technology related to agriculture to the farmers. Concrete positive steps are being taken by the government for the development of agriculture sector. So much work has not been done in the last 20 years for the improvement of the affected land as has been done by the BJP government in a short period of time. Nearly 8 lakh acres of area across the state is affected by beans. This year a target has been set to improve 70,000 acres of land. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. BR Kamboj said that the university has developed 284 improved varieties of various crops, fruits, vegetables, oilseeds, fodder etc. and given them to the farmers. The prepared bio-fortified variety of millet, HHB 299, is rich in iron and zinc which can provide various crops to the general public. Will provide relief from diseases and malnutrition.
