After the murder of young singer Sidhu Musewala, the AAP government has come under attack. Political parties have sought an answer from the government by starting a political siege over the deteriorating law and order situation in Punjab. This has become a big challenge before the AAP government. If the law and order situation is not brought under control soon, anti-social elements will spread. The murder of Moosewala has shocked everyone and the emergence of gangsters has raised the concern of all Punjabis.

Punjab Police was busy in security arrangements for Operation Blue Star Day on 1st June. The police had withdrawn the personnel engaged in the security of 424 personalities, including the name of Sidhu Musewala, in view of this day. For Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, it is a time of examination, while it is a big setback for the government. This is a very sad incident for the fans of Sidhu Musewala. The leaders of political parties have taken a jibe at the AAP government.

Punjab Congress chief Amarendra Singh Raja Vading has said that the party has lost a promising star. This is a big shock. He said that it was only two days after Musewala’s security was withdrawn that there was a barrage of bullets. He said that the AAP government has no moral right to be in power now. So the government should be dismissed. Vading has also demanded registration of FIR against DJP and SSP.

Describing the killing of Sidhu Musewala as a big incident, former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that law and order has deteriorated in the state. Criminals have no fear of law.

BJP leader Sunil Jakhar said that the Aam Aadmi Party is tampering with the matter of security for the campaign. The murder of Sidhu Musewala is a heart-wrenching incident.

Resign Chief Minister: Bajwa

Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa said that the killing of Sidhu Musewala has exposed the law and order situation of the state. He demanded that the Chief Minister should resign in this matter and clarify about the withdrawal of Moosewala’s security and the reasons for which his security was withdrawn. He said it was the result of AAP gaining cheap fame by promoting the withdrawal of security on social media. Former Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that the AAP government should not have made public the security return of the dignitaries. It killed Moosewala and put others at risk. SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal termed Chief Minister Mann’s poor decision to withdraw the security of the dignitaries, which took Moosewala’s life.

Dulo condemned the murder

LUDHIANA (NIS): Congress leader Shamsher Singh Dulo strongly condemned the killing of Sidhu Musewala and said that the Punjab government should provide security on need basis. CHANDIGARH: Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) VK Bhavra on Sunday said the murder of famous singer Sidhu Musewala seemed to be a result of enmity between the gangs and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was involved in it. The BJP on Sunday blamed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal for Sidhu Musewala’s murder, saying the Delhi Chief Minister was ruling Punjab through “remote control”. Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that the confidential list, containing the names of those whose security has been withdrawn, was made public. Patra said, “So, it is an open invitation to the killers that you can carry out your work… Arvind Kejriwal is responsible for this murder.” In the same press conference, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said Kejriwal and AAP leader Raghav Chadha travel with 90 and 45 gunmen respectively but withdrew the security of a popular Punjabi singer.
